How about a peek into my freshly organized office closet? It was quite the cluttered mess a few weeks ago, but I dug in and got her all cleaned up! I'm fortunate to have a built-in dresser with shelving above for extra storage, but I wasn't taking advantage of that space and the stuff was just piling up. My craft paint, pens and brushes are now at my fingertips, which has led to a few more craft projects lately.
Of course you can see why I'm excited about this makeover once you look at the before!
I used to store my craft paint in the garage, but it makes more sense to have it here, where I'm more apt to use it.
Brushes and chalk pans are contained in old jelly jars. The small craft paint is in the lid to the tags on the four storage bins in the top shelves. The paint markers are in a pretty candle box- I like using things like that for storage.
Now that I've hung the fabric that was previously in these drawers, I have room for other craft supplies.
I've got large decorative paper, card stock, fabric scraps, and gift bags, curling ribbon and crinkle paper in the drawers.
I've had the textured bins from Pottery Barn for at least 10 years and they currently hold magazines, Silhouette supplies, photos, and cards. I made the labels with my labeler and affixed them to gift tags from HomeGoods. Round leather cord attaches the tags to the bins.
I'm digging the organized closet, but now the tons of photos I have here and in other boxes are calling my name. One step at at time!
