Heading to Haven Blog Conference 2013

I'm thrilled to be heading to Atlanta this August to speak on a panel with some of my best girlfriends at <a href="http://haven./">Haven</a>.  I had planned to go last year, but had a scheduling conflict. <br /><br /><br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; DIY Faux Capiz Shell Pendant

Time for a Big Boy Bed?

Since our son is turning 3 soon, I've been wondering if it's time to get him out of the crib and into a big boy bed.  He's quite content in his crib and has only crawled out once though.  Looking at this picture below makes me pretty sure it's time. <br /><br /><br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; Many of you asked me about my jewelry collection and how I organized it, so here it is! ;)<br />Last year I made a new additional closet with my dad, and these drawers were the best thing that I decided to add. As we are not professionals, I gotta admit that it wasn't the easiest thing to do while we were measuring and trying to make them equal by installing them. But it really worth it at the end.<br />Now, I have place where I can organize every single item which was hard to keep in order before.<br />Draw for flowers, bracelets, belts or sunglasses, make up or whatever you want, hidden inside of your closet! Grown Up Coffee Table

Hi friends!  Hope you had a great weekend!  After a major deep cleaning on Saturday, I was hanging out in the living room realizing that I never shared our "grown up" coffee table with you.  Like many of you with small children, we had the easy-to-clean, safe faux leather ottoman as our coffee table for years. <br /><br /><br /><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br /><br /></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />My dreamy coffee table was from <a href="http://www.ethanallen.com/product?productId=5152687&categoryId=8105">Ethan Allen</a>, but was pricy (of course it's on sale now), so I kept looking.  Also, it was 38 inches in diameter and 19 inches high, which I thought might be a little tight.  </div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both;
