Try to keep your roll of jute burlap webbing rolled... It's easier to work with.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">2 Cut  6 lengths of 20 inch jute burlap and lay close together horizontally (weft).</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">3. Cut 8-9 lengths of burlap for the vertical webbing (warp)... and add 1 inch for folding over and gluing.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Starting at the lower left corner, glue the warp webbing on to the back of the first weft webbing 1/2 inch from the end.  Weave the warp webbing over and under the weft, gluing as you go,. The last weave will be an "over",  Fold the end over and glue to the back of the placemat. See image.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">4. Continue to weave and glue. The second warp strip will begin "over" so leave a little extra webbing to fold the end of the warp over and glue it to the back of the placemat. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Continue weaving until you are 1/2 inch or more from the end.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Cut all the "under" warp webbing and make sure to glue it down close to the edge.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">5. Finished, chic placemat</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">6. Instead of a smooth edge you can opt for a fringed edge! </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Make sure you have 2/3 inch overhang on all weft strips. Pull the threads out of the weft burlap ends, making a fringe. Make the saying "GIVE THANKS" on a computer program, like Pic Monkey and print it out on a computer.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">3.Using the GIVE THANKS paper, cut a circle large enough to fill the center of your picture, centering the words GIVE THANKS. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">I used an 8 inch plate as a template for my circle.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">4. Sandwich the Bristol board between the cardboard backing and the mat of your picture and glue it down using glue tape or double sided sticky tape.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">5. Center the cut out GIVE THANKS circle in the middle of thr mat and glue down with glue tape.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">6. Using pressed leaves arrange a single layer of leaves around the Give Thanks circle. When it looks pleasing to you glue the leaves down with glue tape.</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">Now it's time to layer the leaves for a 3D effect. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">7. Put a glue dot on the back of a leaf and begin to fill in the wreath. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: center;">8. Here is a picture of half the wreath done.
